Evolutionary – Again!

I finally finished the print version of my book!  It was a little difficult and I actually should have done this first.  It’s all done now, though, so I am feeling quite accomplished.  I also managed to get a more appropriate cover finished and applied.  Make sure to check it out on Amazon!

Evolutionary bookI wanted to give a big thank you to everyone that downloaded my book during the free giveaway.  I had over 200 downloads!  i have gotten some awesome feedback from people.  I even got a 5 star review!  I think that this was a successful launch.  Hopefully I can keep the momentum going.  So if you haven;t already checked it out—–>Evolutionary on Amazon!  Read it and let me know what you think!

I am finishing the cover design for the printed version and that should be available by the end of the month.  I am pretty excited about that.

8mm 3In other news, I found our family’s old 8mm film projector and have started to go through some of the old family movies.  The bulb is out and I had to order one from Amazon, but i rigged a flashlight up with a mirror to get some light through it.  The projector has a preview screen that is smaller and doesn’t require near as much light, so the flashlight will work for now until I get the new bulb.  It’s really fascinating to hear the rhythmic ratcheting of a projector and seeing the grainy film play out.  The mechanical devices have a life of their own with the gentle whirring and clicking of parts, so different from the soulless silence of a digital device.  I guess that’s why I like them.
