Life Update

My life is complicated, but pretty good overall.  I have finally reached a date for when my current job will end, 16 Sep.  This is a job I have had since 1999, which was a continuation of my military service as an air guard technician.  Now I find myself retired from the guard and soon to be medically retired from the technician side also.  This has been a very tumultuous time for me.  I have been very lost as to how to provide for my family.

Prayer works.

I have been praying for months for some guidance for my life, any sort of direction.  I had been planning on trying to make a living off my artwork, but it hasn’t been panning out.  Life is too busy here at home for me to try and be self employed, not to mention the self discipline required.  So I prayed.  My wife prayed.  My mom prayed.  My church prayed.

The prayers worked.

So now I am starting full time as a System Administrator II.  This is a career that is both interesting and exciting to me and I look forward to working in the cyber-security field.  Finally all my computer experience as well as my Security+ certification is paying off.  The only down side is I won’t be working full time on my art or my writing, but I can still draw and write like I have been.  I still feel blessed.

God is definitely good and watching out for us.
